How the 4 Levels Work

After every benchmark or unit test, students are grouped into four color-coded levels:

• Level 1: On or Above. These students need rigorous grade-level instruction and enrichment.
• Level 2: Bubble. These students are borderline. With small group support, they can move up.
• Level 3: Intervention. These students need targeted, structured instruction aimed at a specific skill.
• Level 4: High-Risk. These students need intensive, individualized support and a problem-solving team.

Because every form uses the same four colors, your target boards, lesson plans, and trackers all connect. You can see at a glance who needs what.
